I am together with a lot of people and we are hearing a couple of presentations in different locations. I also moving with a smaller group. It starts to rain and we are arriving to some park with wooden seats everywhere. My group arrives here first and sit down on some seats. I propose to go inside as it's raining, but the others remind me that this place is only outside. I get a bit angry why they choose an outside location in the winter. In the meantime the other groups also arrive. A small boy aged like 5-6 sits beside me and I pity him to have to sit there in the rain, so I lay him on a bed nearby. I want get back to my seat, but he suddenly grab my arms and says it's not enough care for him so I also lay beside him. I lie there put on a cover and starts to comfort his back like I was his father. I feel a bit weird if it's normal or not.
Dreams are deeply personal and can be interpreted in multiple ways depending on your life circumstances, emotions, and experiences. Here's a detailed interpretation of your dream:
Presentations and Groups: In dreams, being among a crowd or attending presentations can symbolize learning, communication, and social gatherings. The varied locations might suggest that you are experiencing different situations or challenges in your waking life, and you're moving through them, either physically or emotionally. The smaller group indicates your closer circle of friends or colleagues you feel comfortable and connected with.
Rain and Outdoor Setting: Rain in dreams often represents emotions or a cleansing process. It can signify a release of pent-up feelings or stress. The fact that it's raining and you are in an outdoor location despite your protests symbolizes either unexpected challenges or discomfort in a certain situation. Being outside in the rain could also indicate emotional vulnerability or feeling exposed in a part of your life.
Conflict and Choices: Your frustration about the outside location in the winter reflects a sense of disagreement with choices made by others around you. It may mirror a real-life scenario where you feel your environment is not suitable or others are making decisions that don't consider your comfort and well-being.
The Little Boy: Children in dreams often symbolize innocence, hope, or parts of yourself that need nurturing. The boy sitting beside you in the rain could represent an aspect of yourself or someone in your life who needs care and comfort. By laying him on the bed and providing comfort, you're showing compassion towards this vulnerable part. This act of caring might signify your nurturing instincts or a desire to protect and look after others.
Feelings of Obligation: When the boy grabs your arm indicating it's not enough, it could reflect feelings of being needed more than you are willing or able to give. It might connect to responsibilities or expectations that you feel are being placed upon you.
Comforting the Boy: Lying beside the child and comforting him like a father indicates your innate desire to provide warmth and security. Your feeling of discomfort at this scenario might relate to insecurities or uncertain boundaries in waking life - questioning if the level of care you are providing is appropriate or required, or perhaps fearing judgment around your nurturing actions.
Overall, this dream may be highlighting a combination of external pressures and internal responsibilities, as well as your nurturing nature. Consider what areas of your life might feel exposed or “out in the cold,” and if you are adequately attending to both your needs and those who depend on you. It might also be a call to reevaluate boundaries and ensure you're comfortable with the roles you are adopting in life.
